LMG is seeking a Lead Audio Quality Control Technician to support warehouse operations and ensure professional audio equipment is tested, maintained, and production-ready for concerts, conventions, corporate meetings, and live events. This role is responsible for overseeing audio quality control processes, troubleshooting equipment, mentoring technicians, and maintaining high operational standards to support flawless event execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Lead Audio Quality Control Technician, you will oversee audio equipment preparation, testing, troubleshooting, and warehouse support to ensure gear meets LMG’s quality standards before deployment.

  • Audio Equipment Testing - Inspect, configure, and test professional audio systems, mixing consoles, speakers, amplifiers, wireless systems, and signal flow to ensure show readiness.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance when required.
  • Quality Control Oversight - Maintain quality standards by inspecting equipment condition, identifying cosmetic or operational concerns, and ensuring gear is event-ready.
  • Inventory Coordination - Organize and track audio inventory, support equipment availability, and maintain warehouse organization standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting - Maintain accurate QC records, checklists, repair logs, and equipment documentation to support operational accuracy.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship - Support technician development, provide guidance, and help train team members on audio systems, troubleshooting, and QC standards.
  • Warehouse Operations Support - Assist with gear prep, organization, packaging, staging, and local logistics support when required.
  • Technical Collaboration - Partner with operations and production teams to ensure equipment readiness and successful show execution.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong knowledge of professional audio systems, including PA systems, signal flow, mixing consoles, wireless audio, and system troubleshooting.
  • Experience testing, preparing, or maintaining professional AV or live event audio equipment preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, CAD drawings, or equipment specifications preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership or mentorship experience in technical or warehouse environments preferred.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse and production environments while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and accountability skills.
